Simply, and fast. Contracts are signed digitally through Onboardo, a contracting platform I built in-house, so agreeing terms takes minutes rather than a fortnight of attachments bouncing between inboxes. There is deliberately no separate NDA stage: confidentiality is written into the contract itself, covering your code, your data, your commercial information and, for agencies, the fact that we work together at all. One document, one signature each, work starts. Behind the freelancer brand sits a proper company, Simplepage Ltd, which holds Umbraco Silver Partner status, so procurement teams get a registered entity to contract with rather than a personal email address and good intentions.
The traditional freelance contract dance, PDF, print, sign, scan, lose, resend, wastes the week when everyone is most enthusiastic about starting. I run contracts through Onboardo, a digital contracting platform I built myself, which sends you a link, walks you through the terms and captures a signature from any device. Most contracts are signed the day they are issued.
Because it is redundant. The contract you sign already binds me to confidentiality over everything the work exposes: source code, credentials, commercial plans, customer data, and, for white label agency clients, the existence of the arrangement itself. A separate NDA adds a second document saying what the first one said, plus a legal review cycle, plus delay. If your procurement process absolutely requires its own paperwork I will read it and behave sensibly, but nobody has ever needed it for protection they did not already have.
You contract with Simplepage Ltd, an Isle of Man registered company (139122C) that holds Umbraco Silver Partner status and stands behind both the Umbraco Freelancer and Simon Antony brands. That matters to finance departments: proper invoices, a registered entity, and continuity that does not evaporate if a sole trader changes email address. More background is on the about page.
Scope, rate, confidentiality, and who owns what: your code and content are yours, full stop. No lock-in clauses, no transfer fees, no hostage-taking of credentials, because my repeat business comes from being easy to work with, not hard to leave. If you want to see the process from the inside, start a conversation and you will have terms in front of you within a working day.
Tell me what you're working on and I'll come back within one working day.
